In a strategic move to further strengthen the fast developing Institutional Advancement functions of the University, the University is looking for a seasoned and dynamic fundraising professional to serve the Development Office which is under the leadership of the Associate Vice-President (Development) [AVP(D)].
 
Duties
The appointee will lead the Development Office and play a key role in the University’s fundraising strategies and operations.  S/he is expected to take a proactive approach to raise funds and build a strong network and good relationship with donors and prospects for further advancement of the University, in collaboration and coordination with Colleges/Schools and various University units.
 
Requirements

1. A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree, with substantial experience and a successful track record in fundraising for education or other philanthropic purposes;
2. Good knowledge of tertiary education;
3. Strong leadership ability, substantial management experience and extensive contacts with industries and businesses;
4. A dynamic personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
5. Strong organising ability to cultivate and engage donors and prospects are required.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
